Maternity Capsule Wardrobe For Winter

As my days of being pregnant are numbered, I thought it was a good time to share my favorite clothes to wear while pregnant! Both of my pregnancies spanned across fall and winter. We found out I was pregnant with Liam in early September and we found out I was pregnant with the twins in late August. Obviously, I don’t know any different, but I do feel like I was pregnant at the best time of the year! Leggings, oversized sweaters, and comfy layers are what I got to wear for the majority of both. Since I’ve done it twice now, I thought I would share a maternity capsule wardrobe for winter for any of you who will also be pregnant through the colder months.

These items are things I wore most often throughout both of my pregnancies:

Comfortable Leggings

I start my pregnancy with these leggings from Lululemon until the bump gets too big, then I switch to this maternity pair from Kindred Bravely.

A Great Pair of Maternity Jeans

This time around I’ve opted for this pair from Abercrombie the most!

Maternity Tanks for Layering

I like this one from Aerie’s maternity line, as well as this Isabel one from Target.

Open-Front Sweaters for Layering

I opt for these a lot since a non-maternity one can usually work for me through pregnancy! This Spanx one is great and I also have a couple I love from Soma!

Long Tees

This is another item that can transition with you from pre-pregnancy all the way to post-pregnancy. I have these Daily Ritual ones in a bunch of colors!

Comfy Pajama/Lounge Set

For a comfortable and affordable pajama option, I’d grab this PJ set from Gap! I also like this cowl neck set from Motherhood Maternity and any of the sets from the Air Essentials Spanx collection.

Cropped Sweatshirt

I’ve lived in this Spanx half-zip one throughout my pregnancy! I like that it sits on top of the bump so I don’t have to worry about it not fitting and I’ll be able to wear it post-pregnancy. It comes in this crewneck version as well.

Comfortable Shoes

Rothy’s has a wide variety of super comfortable shoes that I’ve worn quite a bit this pregnancy. Two of my favorites are the “Original Slip On Sneaker” and the “Almond Loafer“. Another pair of comfortable shoes I’ve worn a lot are the “On Cloud 5” Running shoes.
