Living Room Reveal

Our living room transformation is officially complete! We couldn’t love the final result more if we tried! It’s cozy, inviting, and perfectly our style. The biggest change that happened was adding in these custom cabinets and floating shelves on either side of the fireplace. Our neighbor’s brother did the work for us and he did an incredible job! We are so happy with how they turned out. Not only do they look beautiful, but they provide so much more storage for us than what we had before. With 3 kids, we know that there’s no such thing as too much storage space, so these cabinets will be amazing to use over the years!

As a refresher, here’s the original design I envisioned in my head.  I’m so happy with how the room came together and how close I was able to stick to the design I created.

It looks beautiful!! Can you tell me where the ‘before’ tables were from that are where the built ins are now?

This looks great! I love how bright and open it feels, even with some of the darker accent colors. Can you tell me what the paint color is on the gallery wall?

I’ve been considering a frame tv but worried about where to hide the “one box” thing it comes with. How do you guys do it??

It’s in one of the cabinets! We have an HDMI hookup behind the TV with another cord on the side wall (builders built that into the house!)

Would you consider the Arhaus sectional “worth” it? I’ve seen dupes but this one looks sooo comfortable. However, we have four boys and I don’t think you can wash these covers??

So far, it’s one of the most comfortable couches I’ve sat on! We have the highest performance material and a great warranty, so I’m hopeful that it will stand up to 3 little ones.

Love how this all came together. Do you mind sharing the color of your built ins? I’m looking for a dark color to paint our bathroom cabinets. Thanks.

So I bought the same chandelier after you inspired me, (luckily I got one of the last ones on clearance!) However, I just opened it up and one of the arms is broken. I remember you saying you had to have something adjusted to it- did you have the same problem, and if so, how did you get it fixed? I’m SO bummed because I love this light!!!!

Oh no! We needed it to be shorter than what it was, so Mike was able to figure it out. It wasn’t broken though!

I love your design! What is the fabric color choice of the sofa? Thank you.

Thank you! I don’t remember the name, but I know it’s one of the performance fabrics! Sorry!

This is beautiful! Would you mind sharing the dimensions of your room? I’m thinking about redoing our family room with a similar layout but I’m worried there won’t be enough room to walk around the couch. My room is 14’x16’ with the tv on the 14’ wall

      I believe it’s about 15′ x 18′, if I remember correctly!
