Reading: I started the second book in Abby’s “Say You’ll Remember Me” series, The Night We Met. I’m a big fan of her books – they’re just easy to read and enjoyable! I love how she connects the characters from book to book in her series, too.

Eating: One of my go-to dinners lately has been crockpot barbecue chicken, garlic smashed potatoes, and cole slaw. It’s obviously great when it’s fresh, but also makes for delicious leftovers. I just cook chicken breast in the crockpot with our favorite barbecue sauce and a little bit of chicken broth. For the potatoes, boil little potatoes until fork tender, pour them onto a baking sheet with oil, smash them down with a cup, then slather them in melted butter and garlic and roast in the oven until crispy. I use store-bought Cole slaw and put it all together on a plate or bowl. It’s like summer in a meal, but without the grill!

Prioritizing: Finding skincare products that work really well for my skin. I’ve always tried to take really good care of my skin, but I feel like I’ve been using the same products for so long that their effectiveness has worn off a bit. Plus, while I’m not particularly concerned about aging yet, the reality is my skin isn’t getting any younger and its needs will change! A few things I’m loving right now are these effective toning pads, this extremely nourishing and glow-inducing oil, and this rich cream that protects my skin barrier

Obsessing: We’ve talked about doing a little DIY renovation to our screened-in porch for about a year now and I’m really hoping to get started on it soon! It needs to be painted, stained, resealed, for starters. But then I would LOVE to add a little sit up bar like this to our accordion window.

Recommending: This texturizing and volumizing cream. I was a texture spray girl through and through, but this is better than any texture spray I’ve used!

Treating: I love the idea of an Oura ring but can’t justify the price tag. I came across this one for a fraction of the price, so I’m giving it a try! Will report back!
