Books I’ve Read and Loved, Part Eight

The latest roundup of some of the books I’ve read recently and enjoyed.

Every Summer After by Carly Fortune (audiobook version)

Loved the narrator on Audible! Really enjoyed listening to this one. Great summer read!

My rating: ★★★★★ (5/5)

Love and Other Words by Christina Lauren (audiobook version)

Another easy listening book for doing chores around the house or driving. I enjoyed getting to know the characters, though it was a little predictable.

My rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5)

It Happened One Summer by Tessa Bailey (audiobook version)

If you’re looking for a light, easy book to listen to while doing other things, this is a good option! It didn’t necessarily hook me like others have, but I still found myself wanting to listen and know how the story would end up.

My rating: ★★★☆☆ (3.5/5)

The Housemaid by Freida McFadden

LOVED this thriller so much. I haven’t enjoyed a book like this since I read Verity by Colleen Hoover. I couldn’t wait to read it every night.

My rating: ★★★★★ (5/5)

Reminders of Him by Colleen Hoover

Loved the story and characters. A classic Colleen Hoover that is worth reading!

My rating: ★★★★☆ (4.5/5)

Recommend Ward D by Freida McFadden, it’s so good! Hands down, one of my favorites of hers.
