My Recommendations for the Sephora Sale

If you find yourself browsing and shopping the Sephora Spring Savings Event over the next couple days, I thought it might be helpful to share some of my recommendations! I buy a lot of my makeup and beauty products from Sephora, so much of my daily/weekly routine is included in the event. If you are a Beauty Insider (or sign up to be one with a bit of info), you can get 10% off your order, starting today! Higher tiers (those that spend more money in a year) get up to 20% off. If you’ve had your eye on something or want to try something that I share, but aren’t signed up yet, I recommend signing up. It’s super easy and gets you access to these sales, as well as earning points throughout the year for other perks!

I’ll break my recommendations and products that I use regularly, by category, to make it a bit easier to navigate. Like I said, I do a lot of shopping through Sephora for these items, so I’ve got quite a few things to mention! Like clothing and accessories, I don’t think that you always have to spend more to get a good quality product. There are drugstore and affordable makeup and beauty options out there that perform (or out-perform) just as well as some higher-end brands. That said, I’m way more inclined to spend money on a dress I may only wear once or twice than a beauty product I’ll try once and never touch again – I’m not very adventurous with this category! So, the products I’m sharing are all things that I have used and loved for quite some time and that I think are worth spending my own money on.

Makeup Recommendations

Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips Lipstick in Liv It Up – I just got this delivered last week and have already worn it a couple times! It’s a really pretty pink that is a bit punchier than my usual Morning After lipstick. I love the formula of CT lipsticks, too!

Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector in Light/Medium – I’m not sure if this will be restocked, but wanted to include it anyway. I love this for instantly brightening my undereye area.

Beautyblender – I use a beauty blender every time I do my makeup – makes everything look really smooth and pretty.

Tarte SEA Color Splash Lipstick in Salt Lyfe – One of my go-to lipsticks from the last couple years! I usually add a little bit of clear lip balm on top of it, to add a little shine and keep it from drying out, since it’s a matte finish.

it Cosmetics CC Cream – One of my go-to foundations from the last couple years. I wear fair in the winter and fair/light during the warmer months. I love that it provides good coverage and SPF protection, but doesn’t feel too heavy on my skin.

Tarte Amazonion Clay 12-Hour Blush – one of my favorite blushes! I love the shades Dollface, Exposed, and Paaarty.

Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow Contour Duo – I bought this after hearing my sister rave about it for a couple months. It’s a stunning palette and I use it every time I do my makeup. I love that the bronze doesn’t make my skin look muddy and the highlight is very pretty.

Tarte SEA Surfer Curl Volumizing Mascara – I’ve been using this mascara for a few weeks and really like it! It adds volume and length without getting clumpy or transferring around my eyes.

Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation in 1N2 Ecru – My ride-or-die full coverage foundation. The reviews speak for themselves! This foundation doesn’t move a millimeter throughout the entire day – it’s great!

KVD Vegan Beauty Tattoo Eyeliner in Trooper – I’ve been using this for maybe a year or two and really like it. It applies smooth and even and lasts all day!

NARS Sheer Glow Foundation in Mont Blanc – A lighter coverage foundation that I like.

Sephora Collection Retractable Brow Pencil in Taupe – A great, budget-friendly option. I love how natural my brows look with this.

Dior Lip Glow in Rosewood – A great, tinted lip balm that adds just a little bit of color and a lot of moisture. I also have and use the shade Pink Glow.

Urban Decay Naked2 Basics Eyeshadow Palette – One of the very few eyeshadow brands that I have used for years. I love this basic palette!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Soft Brown – If you can’t find your shade in the Sephora Collection brow pencil, this one is a great option. I used this one for years, until I found the SC one!

it Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer in Light Nude – Another go-to for me, this concealer is great for brightening under my eyes.

Sephora Collection Eye Love Eyeshadow Palette in Light Cool – I’ve been using this $14 palette since last fall and love it! It’s a great budget-friendly option.

Skincare Recommendations

Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi Anti-Pollution Sunshine Drops – I love these for adding a subtle glow to my skin year round. I use 1/4-1/2 pump with my Vitamin C serum and Hydration serum in the morning.

Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray – The only setting spray I will use!

Fresh Sugar Advanced Therapy Treatment Lip Balm – A great lip balm for everyday wear.

Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial – I loooove this treatment for my skin. It brightens my skin and adds the prettiest glow!

Drunk Elephant B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum – I use one pump in the morning and one pump at night in my skincare routine. I love that it adds hydration to my skin without feeling heavy or clogging up my skin.

Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum – I use one pump at night, mixed with the hydration serum. It keeps my skin clear and fresh.

Origins Clear Improvements Active Charcoal Mask – The first face mask I ever used! It’s one that you can feel working right away. I like to use this when my skin is breaking out or I’m feeling like a need a deep cleanse.

Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen – My go-to face sunscreen. It isn’t too heavy and doesn’t cause my skin to breakout.

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask – I put this on every night before I go to sleep and I always wake up with hydrated, happy lips.

Drunk Elephant C-Firma Day Serum – One pump of this in the morning, with one pump of hydration serum and a bit of the bronzing drops, is what I do every day for my skincare routine. It brightens and firms my skin!

Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Botanical Cleansing Oil – One of my absolute favorite cleansers! I use a pump (or two, if I have a lot of makeup on) to remove my makeup and cleanse my skin most nights. I love that it doesn’t dry my skin out!

Other Recommendations

Slip Silk Sleepmask – I regularly sleep with a mask on, so I love that this one is gentle on my skin and eyes. Plus, it’s easy to launder!

Slip Silk Pillowcase – I’ve been using a silk pillowcase for a couple years now and have noticed a difference in my skin and hair. These make great gifts, too!

Slip Small Slipsilk Scrunchies – I use one of these every night to loosely and gently pull my hair up for sleeping.

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo – One of my favorite dry shampoos of all time. It actually cleans my hair and helps me get 2-3 days out of a wash!

T3 Featherweight Compact Folding Hair Dryer – Small, but mighty, this travel-sized hair dryer is something I’ll have for years and years!

St. Tropez Self Tan Express Bronzing Mousse and Applicator Mit – My favorite self-tanner for a natural-looking glow. I’ll usually apply it, leave it on for three hours, then rinse off and moisturize.

T3 Whirl Trio Styling Wand Set – I finally took the plunge on this wand a year or so ago and am so glad that I did! I feel like my curls last a bit longer than they did with my previous wand. Plus, I love that it comes with different barrels, so that I can still use the same tool no matter the length of my hair.

Great picks!! Just be really careful with the T3 whirl, even on the lowest setting. It ruined my the mids and ends of my hair! You should try the Lange titanium wand. It’s so much better and less expensive but the curls last even longer!
