With the 4th of July holiday just around the corner, I thought it would be fun to share a few outfit ideas that are festive and easy! Whether you’re planning on laying low, heading to a friend’s house, or traveling for the weekend, I’ve put together five different outfit ideas that would work perfectly for the celebrations. We will be with my family in Wisconsin, so I’ll probably be wearing something like the striped tee and cutoffs look, but love all of the other options. The best part? They’re all made from things I already had in my closet – no shopping necessary.
White Denim & Chambray
I love this option if you live somewhere cooler or are going to be inside all day with A/C. It’s simple and classic and hits all the marks for color!
Fun Shorts & A Tee
This is a good twist on a simple shorts and a tee look with the fun detailing on the tee and the patterned shorts. You could also swap the shorts for a pair of blue striped shorts, to keep within the color scheme of the day! I like this option if you’re planning on going out somewhere or want to be a little more pulled together without compromising comfort.
A Little White Dress
I’m very into how the red pops with this perfect summer dress! It’s lightweight and easy. Obviously, wouldn’t be the best option if you plan to be on a lake or hanging outside all day, but would work well for an evening cookout or dinner with friends.
A Pop of Color + Detail
When in doubt, grab that red top you have and make an outfit around it! Paired with denim shorts and the fun detailing on this kimono, this outfit is a winner.
Striped Tee + Cutoffs
The simplest option, but elevated a bit with a red lip and the fun purse. You could even add a pair of tassel or statement earrings and some wedge sandals, if you want to kick it up a little more!
