Drugstore Highlighter Comparison

I’m back with another drugstore makeup comparison! This time, I tried a few different powder highlighters to share my thoughts. Admittedly, this one was a little bit harder to compare, since it’s not something as obvious as mascara or concealer. It’s a subtle addition to my makeup routine that makes a difference, but isn’t quite as easy to capture in images and video. I’ve swatched the different highlighters below, so that you can get a better idea of what they look like. If you’re not using a highlighting product, but like the look of glowy makeup, I recommend grabbing one!

Physicians Formula Murumuru Butter Highlighter in Pearl

This was probably my favorite of the bunch. I really like the pearlescent finish. It isn’t glittery, but still gives a really pretty glow. It stays well throughout the day, as well.

Wet n Wild MegaGlo Highlighting Powder in Blossom Glow

This one is another good option! The shade that I got has a pink undertone to it, as you can probably see. It does have a bit of a glittery finish to it, so if you don’t like that, keep that in mind. It wasn’t too powdery/messy when applying, so that’s a plus!

Maybelline Master Chrome Metallic Highlighter Powder in Molten Gold

While this is really pretty, I don’t like the color for me. It is long-lasting once it’s on the skin, but it was messy when applying. I used a brush to apply and powder dusted all over the place. This was my least favorite of the bunch, but that’s mostly because of personal preferences!
