Happy Friday! We’ve got a couple days of spring-like weather happening in Raleigh right now and I am SO READY. I’m usually more of a fall girl, but something about having a toddler that loves being outside and the long winter…I’m so ready for warmer weather. I’m telling myself to remember this feeling when I want to complain about it being 95º with 100% humidity in a few months, haha! I’m going out to dinner with a few girlfriends tonight, so I’m looking forward to that! We’re going to somewhere that I haven’t been before, which I’m happy about. One of my goals for this year is to get out and explore more local spots, so this is a good step in that direction!
I’ve shared on Instagram a couple times that I’ve been watching the Netflix show The Woman in the House Across the Street From the Girl in the Window. I finished it last night and I enjoyed it! I knew that it was a parody going into it, so I was able to view it through that lens of understanding, which made all the difference. If you think it’s supposed to be a real show (aka don’t realize it’s a parody of that genre), you will be severely disappointed.
Do you have plans for the Super Bowl? As of now, my sister and her family are coming over for it. But don’t be fooled, we don’t care about the football of it…we’re just gathering to eat game day food together. That’s the best part! We haven’t determined the menu yet, but I’m feeling some sheet pan nachos, for sure.
