Cheers to Friday! How was your week? It was a typical week here, although Mike and I are trying to find a little bit of a better balance with our days. It’s funny – I feel like when you’re pregnant, all you think about is the little baby that you’re having and the immediate changes, but there isn’t a whole lot of thought into how everything else will be different forever. Parenthood, especially new parenthood, is just a continuous journey of finding your rhythm and adjusting and re-adjusting. But gosh, it’s so fun. Liam is at a really enjoyable age right now – moving around, discovering everything, and still sweet as ever!
Are you watching the Super Bowl this weekend? We’re not a huge football family, but I’m sure Mike will have it on. I feel like the commercials have kind of gone downhill the last couple years, so I don’t even have those to look forward to. I am all in for snacks, though! My ideal meal is just a sampling of a few different things. Sometimes my sister and I will just split apps, if we’re out to eat, and it’s my favorite! So, I’m planning to make a few things for us to enjoy on Sunday. This spinach artichoke dip and sheet pan quesadillas are calling my name!

Yes.. Super Bowl is all about the apps and adult beverage for me and sometimes the halftime show mini concert lol.. but I love the laid back vibe and Hubby and son bonding time watching it together whooting and hollering: ). My son is 22 now.. my one and only. Love seeing you and your sister with your kids. Beautiful family! Liam is at such a great age. I love seeing their personalities develop and being able to interact with them at the different ages/stages. Nothing is more challenging and rewarding looking back and the time really does go by way too fast!
