My Favorite Purchases from 2017

2017 was a year that I feel like I really defined and refined my personal style. Previously, I was a bit more of an impulse shopper. If I saw something in the store and liked it right then, I’d buy it, put it in my closet, and there was a a good chance it would sit there for awhile before I ever used it. I would buy outside of they style that I like, feeling like I needed to mix things up or try something new. Time and time again, I’d go back to my favorite things – neutral colors, comfortable layers, easy to wear pieces. Last year, I was a lot more intentional with my purchases. I took more time to consider buying an item and, if I didn’t wear/use it within about a month, it went back! My closet is a lot more cohesive and versatile – I’m able to mix and match most things, so I get a lot more use out of everything!

I thought it would be fun and helpful to share my favorite purchases from last year. These are products/items that I’d consider “tried and true”. Things I used a ton (and continue to) that are worth the money.

Beauty 

Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate 
I’ve shared about this in my skincare post, but I love this product. I use it every single day and it has really helped my skin.

Tarteist Lash Paint Mascara
This mascara has transformed my naturally-full and long lashes! It adds the right amount of volume and length without too much effort. I buy it in multiples whenever it goes on sale.

Bite Agave Lip Mask
I have this on me at all time – adds just the right amount of moisture!

Ugg Aira Knit Scuff Slippers
I love slipping these on every morning when I get out of bed. Super warm and the hard bottom adds extra support!

Aerie Plush Sleep Leggings
You guys have heard me rave about this plenty, but they’re that good. I have them in two colors and wear one just about every day around the house.

Barefoot Dreams Cozy Chic Robe
I was in the market for a robe last fall and came across this one. It seemed pretty hyped up in the reviews, so I was skeptical. I mean, can a robe really be that great? I’m here to tell you that yes, yes it can. So warm (sometimes too warm!) and cozy.

Mike gave this to me on our wedding day, personalized with my new initials! It’s special because of what it reminds me of, but it’s also a super functional wallet.

I wear these all the time. I love the oversized frames and you can’t beat the price!
